Training
What makes me special? I'm 90% self-taught. I don't have many diplomas... admittedly a cabinetmaker's CAP, but it's from my atypical background that I draw my knowledge. From my encounters with people and my many manual and intellectual practices, I've been able to draw on a wide range of open-mindedness and creativity.
Since my earliest childhood, I've also drawn inspiration and example from a father who was a luthier/electronic engineer/photographer/... He gave me a taste for "doing". Building new bridges between different professions, moving forward by learning again and again, finding solutions - these are my main assets.
Tools and materials
Wood, stone, metal, glass: like my various professional practices, I like to mix them.
With me, a team that masters each element...
With me, hand tools specific to cabinetmaking, violin making or sculpture, drawn from tradition here and elsewhere (I'm particularly fond of tools from Japan, where craftsmen have been mastering the art of metalworking for thousands of years).
With me, quality portable or stationary tools that allow you to work with finesse and precision.
With me, products that respect the environment and your quality of life.
Artistic inspirations
Attracted to the arts from an early age, the only land where freedom of action is possible in my eyes, I began with drawing.
I quickly moved on to percussion, first Brazilian, then African, Cuban... I then accompanied dancers, took up writing and poetry... met actors, painters, set designers, luthiers... and became a professional musician for over fifteen years.
As such, I founded the Compagnie Quetzal, where I co-created or created several shows; writing texts, directing, creating sets, designing costumes, managing artists and finally producing on stage no longer hold any secrets for me.
At the same time, I teach rhythm, song and sound improvisation to adults, children and people with disabilities.
My recipe is simple: play while connecting with my inner creator.
It's enough to listen to your heart vibrate for the seeds sown there to grow into beautiful, luminous stars.
A desire to give, to be of service, in the heart, in the colors of life and the integration of differences.
Since 2009, a new birth: painting and wood reemerge and become two increasingly present passions.
I thus create a new space of freedom that gives pride of place to blends, nuances, differences and complementarities in the unified being.
